A BLAST FROM THE PAST – C.A. HARTNELL

THE HARTNELL FAMILY HISTORY

The Hartnell family has a rich and amazing family history with many stories that enrich the culture of both England and the United States.

We Hartnell’s have some noteworthy ancestors who did some really cool things and who had sensational stories chronicled in history! They all seemed to have had a sense of adventure that I like to think we modern day Hartnell’s still have. But thankfully we don’t have the challenges these Hartnell ancestors faced like sailing around the world on a sailing vessel depending on the wind, watching your ship on her maiden voyage sink in the freezing Atlantic, or getting stuck in North Pole ice.

I’m not exactly sure how I’m related to these men but our name is not a common one so I claim them as my own. I have several Norman Hartnell vintage dresses, books, jewelry, and a perfume bottle. Enjoy reading about my remarkable Hartnell’s and their exciting stories. If you would like to learn more about the Hartnell family, please check out their Facebook Group.
