Route 66 Road Trip Adventures: Day Three

Day 3 on our fabulous Route 66 Road Trip! What a great adventure we’re having! Here I am with my classic car and my book series with the car in them!

Here’s my car called Hawk’s Ride right before it’s getting loaded into the trailer for the rest of the Route 66 Road Trip!

Drove to Barstow, California, to visit a lovely organization called B.E.S.T and to give their folks a set of my books. They wanted me to sign them! I felt really special to be there with their special people. Thanks so much!

Next we stopped at the Barstow Route 66 Museum but it was closed! I keep missing their museum hours! Yikes! But Gail and I had fun taking photos of my trailer parked out front.

Still hanging out at the Barstow Route 66 Museum with my sister Gail.

Our last stop in Barstow was at this really cool mural.

After driving the old Route 66 Road we stopped in Oatman, Arizona for a break and a bit of shopping! It’s a cool town where the donkeys wander the streets!

After a really long day of driving and stopping, we finally got to our overnight destination in Kingman, Arizona! We had a great time on Route 66 today. And made some new friends along the way!
